QUETTA: A loud blast occurred on Samingli road here on Tuesday but no loss of life was reported, Geo news quoted police sources as saying.

According to police sources, unknown militants blew up an empty police checkpost with explosives located on Shamingli road in Arbab Town but no loss of life was reported.

Police have kicked off investigation, sources added.
